Mixing music is an art in service of another art, a means of refining or creating the presentation of a multitrack recording; transforming a song into a record. While good balances, tones and emotional impact are the immediate goals of the process, collaborating with a great mix engineer can genuinely be the process in music production that helps the end result outshine the sum of its parts.
Dave Greenberg has been mixing records for 20 years, in a huge variety of styles and genres, informed by a background in art and music, driven by an experimental nature and a love of sound.
